Now, it's time for you to meet the people behind the scenes ... or on the horses, as the case may be!
Do you want to join our team of horse-crazy people?
We are always accepting resumes for a new member for our team, this person would love working with children, have a very good background in horsemanship and be able to work with minimal supervision. If this is you please send us your resume we would love to talk to you. Also we are always looking for volunteers to help out with summer camp and saddle club programs. This is not a paying position, but you will have a chance to ride occasionally, depending on the availability of the horses and your experience level. Volunteers will be helping the instructors with riding, theory, crafts, and other daily activities for our programs and trail rides. You must be willing to work with children, be mature, and get along well with others. If you'd like to try it out, please give us a call, and we'll arrange a meeting time!
France-Anne
With deep sadness in our hearts we would like to acknowledge the beautiful life of France-Anne Sweeny. We are so privileged that she could be such a major part of the family here at Conestogo River Horseback Adventures. To advance her jumping skill in riding, she took lessons at another facility and had an accident. This has been a major impact on the equine community that she has been apart of. Freak accidents are so hard to deal with. No matter all the different places that she rides at; it has been a joy to be around her. She was such a meticulous person that she would remember and remind every mishap or spill and be the first one to ensure everyone’s safety and remember her helmet. She had such a positive attitude towards many people and horses that she always had something nice to say. “He’s so generous in the corners.”
